The 1857 Minnesota census showed Stillman Reed (age 28, born in New Hampshire) married to Caroline (age 21, born in Pennsylvania) and living in Township 116, Range 23, Carver County, Minnesota. Children Mary (age 6, born in Illinois) and Emely (age 1, born in Minnesota) also lived with the couple.

The 1860 United States census showed Stillman Reed (age 33, born in New Hampshire, farmer) married to Carolina M. (age 24, born in Pennsylvania) and living in Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota. Children Mary C. (age 8, born in Illinois), Emily (age 4, born in Minnesota), and Alice J. (age 9 months, born in Minnesota) also lived with the couple.

The 1865 Minnesota census showed Stillman Reed married to Carolina and living in Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota. Children Mary and Emma also lived with the couple.

The 1870 United States census showed Stillman Reed (age 49, born in New Hampsire) married to Caroline (age 35, born in Pennsylvania) and living in French Lake, Wright County, Minnesota. Children Mary (age 18, born in Illinois), Emma (age 14, born in Illinois), and Willie (age 3, born in Minnesota) also lived with the couple.

The 1880 United States census showed Stillman Reed (age 57, born in New Hampsire) married to Carolina (age 45, born in Pennsylvania) and living in Cokato, Wright County, Minnesota. Son William H. (age 13, born in Minnesota) also lived with the couple.
